I'm in Califon, New Jersey this week with my friends Deano Farkas, Len Cardinale and my brother Bob Sweisthal. We are hunting deer and enjoying the Thanksgiving holidays together. I harvested a 7 point buck the first day of the hunt November 29th and a doe and two bucks during the rest of the hunt. Len harvested a 3 point buck with his recurve bow, and Deano harvested two does. We are on a whitetail deer management hunt and will be heading out again over the next few days and hope to bring some deer meat back to Texas.
Len is an accomplished Archery Hall of Fame bowhunter and Olympic coach, and autographed an arrow for me.
